The City of Omaha Human Resources Department is accepting applications for the position of Entry Level Police Officer from January 4th 2010 through February 11th 2010. 
As a kid I always wanted to be a policeman or professional baseball player. Thankfully I could never hit a curve ball, so instead I have the most exciting and rewarding career I could ever hope for. 
For me, being a police officer is all about the kids. As a police officer, I have the opportunity to be apositive influence for kids that could last a lifetime.
The people I have worked with and the challenges I face on a daily basis in my career have proven to be a great learning experience. The respect and honor I feel as an Omaha police officer cannot be matched.
